Ticket Terms & Conditions and FAQ

On April 27th, 2020 Copper Street Brass announced the cancellation of the remainder of our season. This cancellation, along with the postponement of all of our educational and outreach work, ends our 19-20 season. Although this is heartbreaking, this decision gives our musicians and patrons some certainty in the face of many challenges and allows us to pivot towards next season.

Copper Street Brass entered this crisis in a position of financial strength, thanks to your support, the support of our donors and a commitment to being good financial stewards throughout our nearly 12 seasons since our incorporation. Recent major changes to our state funding have thrown us and all of our peers in Minnesota into uncertainty about our programs and your support at this time is critical.

When we announced the cancellation of our live gala fundraiser, Brass on Tap, our patrons stepped up and converted 100% of their tickets to tax-deductible donations - a huge thank you to all of those folks! To help CSB weather and recover from this challenge, we humbly ask you to consider donating the value of your tickets to “Back to the Eighties” to CSB.  If it is your intention to convert your purchase to a donation, no action is needed from you at this time and the donation amount will be added to your total 2020 donations (if applicable).

If you do not wish to convert the value of your tickets to a donation and instead receive a refund, please fill out this form.   Patrons have until Friday, May 22 to request a refund, after which the value of your tickets will automatically be converted into a donation. If you have any questions feel free to email us (email is better than calling right now as we don’t have our usual staff capacity to answer our box office phone regularly).

We very much appreciate your understanding and support of us during this difficult time. We are already hard at work planning our concerts for next season. Hopefully we will see you in person and if we can’t we’re working to find creative ways to still share our music with you and keep everyone safe!

-Allison and Alex, CSB Executive Directors

In an effort to make CSB performances as accessible as possible to everyone in the Twin Cities community, especially families and young people, CSB announced in 2019 that children ages 6–17 can attend any CSB concerts (excluding Brass on Tap) for free when accompanied by an adult! All children in attendance must have a ticket, and free tickets may be reserved on our website.

Students (ages 18+) must show a valid student ID at the ticket counter to purchase discounted student tickets.

Copper Street Brass strives to make its performances and venue accessible to all patrons. When ordering tickets, please let us know if you have special needs or require accessible seating. Contact us for any additional inquiries regarding accessibility and let us know how we can help!

Personal Electronics

As a courtesy to the performers and your fellow concert attendees, we ask that all cell phones, pagers and electronic devices be silenced prior to performances. Cameras and recording equipment are not allowed at any of our venues.

Concert Attire

Many first-time audience members have questions about what to wear to a CSB concert. You’ll see a whole range of dress at our concerts — from jeans to formal attire — with most audience members falling somewhere in the middle. Some of our patrons like to dress up to match the “theme” of our shows (like a Halloween or 70’s themed show) - and we love that! Whatever you choose to wear, we want you to be comfortable and enjoy the performance!
